That is. Sob.
I should know these are dooms for kids vest. I should not use that delicate Rowan yarn (Rowanspun DK) which is called for the pattern. It is a lesson...

BTW, I made a big dinner for Christmas, everybody was happy, everybody got a bunch of gifts, I've got beautiful yarns. But I forgot to take a photo. Will show you soon.

Now my living room has got a two big bookshelf from IKEA and it looks quite smarter than boxes. Particularly I have now an easy access to all of my knitting books and patterns. It gives me motivation, so I will go back to there to knit...

deadlines

It is a shame that my last post was dated on December 2...
I had a deadline on 17 and another one today, so I was quite tied up and am.

I had another knitting-related incident recently, I will post soon about it. Yes, I have not yet gotten over today's deadline, so far I will post the next one afterword. Sorry.

Incident

Last Saturday morning, I woke up with kids and DH had yet stayed in bed. It was brilliant morning, I prepared breakfast for kids and myself, and after they finished and left for playing in their room, I happily cleared on the table and picked up these:

a nobel "Knitting", and a wip sock of last winter. The yarn is from Posh yarn and the color is just fabulous, I love looking at the yarn in stockinette. In this brief moment of peace, I took it and knitted a while. Kids was poking around me, but let me knit without interruption.

Then, I left it on the table just a minute, left for kitchen for doing something. And when I came back to the table, this is what I found:

I've got an impression something is wrong. Yes. It is, CUT! ?!??!!

I didn't understand what was happened. I Got near and found it:

Then, I found out. I went to kid's room and immediately identified the object. Scissors. At the hand of DS second, who is now three-years-old.

Actually I think I was careless. The day before was his last day of nursery and he's got papers, sketch book, a bag etc, with a pair of scissors which he used there.

when I saw it in his nursery's yellow bag, I should take it immediately....oh my poor wip sock.....

Anyway. I came back here from the abyss of despair and sorrow, took photos. Ugh.
