Check!(now at the heel actually)
And let me tell you, we have to send out the socks for Sockapalooza on August 2. I have prepared an emvelop, a band for socks, tissues to wrap, and put them altogather into my suitcase to send from France. I will get a lovely card for her over there.

Check!
(This is my current favorite yarn 4 ply merino from The Knittery, Passionfruit colorway, and to be one of Cookie's famous socks)

And one more secret project to go. Small one.

Today all day I packed the luggages for me, DS first and second. Now finally I reached the moment to put my knitting projects in.

I am not yet healed from the bad mood. The teeth is now completely good though. Thank you so much for your comments for it. It really helped to get over it.

And I am leaving in two days. Sorry for my absence, I will be back on August 8 and will update here afterwards.

Happy summer, happy knitting to all of you!

double ouch

So so...now I am kind of OK, my mouth regains its normal condition almost. But AGAIN, it looks I have lost or left somewhere without knowing, my knitting mojo. It is hard. In a sense, it is more difficult than a temporary dental unconfortability. Now, in two weeks I will be in France as usual, for our family's summer vacation. This time it is three weeks. Under normal condition, I would be now excited how to choose my vacation project. I should check my patterns everywhere, look into cheerfully my stash closet, try to eliminate and identify the candidates to bring with me, start to make center-pull balls....

Nothing. nothing of them, these ideas, don't make me feel excited.

It is very sad. And my socks for sockapalooza doesn't go well. It is my first priority, and after that I have completely no idea.

What do you do in this kind of mood? Oh, please hold my hand and tell me I would be OK. Give me the needles. I try to grab it again.
