catch up
First of all, thank you so much for your comments about my Etsy shop! It is really exciting and I am so happy to dye...
And I am so sorry for not being capable to update my shop more frequently. Now, my job life is devided in two directions. There is another job which is rather primal for me yet in the preparing stage, that means it is not yet the real "job". And the other one is my yarn. Both give me different kind of pleasures, and let me stay at home to do. I am now trying to balance with both of them and family life. I wish it works this time.
Actually, after a quite long roundabout road, I realized now I came back to my initial interests of life, and it makes me smile a bit.
BTW, I have been quite tied up seriously until yesterday night, over 10 days long, to complete a kind of task for that job. So I could not do dyeing last week. Too bad. Today I took a day-off personally, and tomorrow is Tuesday, Dye-Day for me.
And if you ask me how about the expected effect of dyeing work as a tool to prevent me from purchasing more yarns, looks it works until now, I guess.
But you know, there is another very strong motive forbidding to buy more yarn now. It is really outrageous and actually I am desperate about it....that is, USPS increased the postal fee for Global Priority Mail till unbelievable level for international destination. Now, if you buy two skeins of sock yarn and want to send them from US to Japan with USPS tracking system, they charge you more than $20!!!
It is not affordable for me!!(sob)
Anyway. I will do dye job tomorrow, and will update my shop on coming Friday, I hope. Stay tune!

Reveal
So sorry for not updating so long!
First, Last week when I had to update, this site's surver had some serious problem and was down for a week or so....and meanwhile, I have been preparing my own hand dyed yarn and shop at Etsy(see side bar).
Yesterday I uploaded my yarns for sale and today, finally my surver came back again.
So.
I decide to make my own hand dyed sock yarn, it is actually a final solution to stop buying too much sock yarns! Yes, I didn't show you recently my sock yarn stash and it was carefully hide...and stashed. Now it is embarassingly enourmous and I had serious addiction. It was the yarn itself and the colors....which grab me always. I almost don't care if I use these yarn collection to knit, obviously my purshase was to posess them, knitting socks from them was optional.
I open my eyes wide and realized what is necessary for me.
I believe my yarns could have different kind of colorway from US handdyer, for I have my own Japanese cultural backborn and I guess it is different from them. First I cannot find any sock yarn made in Japan for dyeing, so I try to scout out some yarn manufacturer who can help me. We collaborate to make an original sock yarn from Italian superwash wool and we made it. The yarn is just INCREDIBLE. Everyone who touched the yarn around me tells it is rather silk than wool. So soft, yet it is springy as wool. It is something completely new and you have never met the yarn like this. Moreover, you cannot find any other place on the earth to get THIS yarn except my shop!!
I knitted up a pair of socks from it and wore, washed with machine. Looks no problem. Rather, the yarn itself tends to bloom after washing. Interesting.
So....next thing I have to do is to continue dyeing. I will try to update my Etsy shop every two weeks, maybe on Friday.

coughing...
Sick and coughing, I have kind of work to complete within a few days, yet I am not very frustlated...probably it is due to lack of good blood circulation in the brain, by this cold.
I have casted on though this:

for my DS second. I had this Debbie Bliss Cotton Denim Aran yarn since some years ago and I discovered if I don't make something out of it for boys now, the combination of size and quantity of yarn will soon be spoiled. Now DS second is almost 3 yrs, and I make it with the size 4-5 yrs which requires 10 balls of the yarn and is just the quantity I have. It is simple stockinette for a while and is just appropriate for my oxigen-lacked brain.
I will get back to here when I come alive and complete the due.
