Bad day but
Today is a bad day. At work I lost my two hour's excel work an instant without saving it, and now I lost my post which I was just writing. What's that??
I was writing, that after my previous post quite soon, I found an intriguing pattern at Knitty.

It is "Cactus Flower", very simple easy sweater, but I really love the idea to use Rowan's Summer Tweed and Kidsilk Haze togather. Besides, I like this soft cowl too.
Since some years, I have posessed a cone of silk brend yarn, which I had purshased at Japanese auction site. This approx. 700g of cone was not so expensive, and VERY similar to Summer Tweed, for its unique texture and weight. The color is rather dull oatmeal or sandy beige, but if I knit it with Kidsilk Haze, it could be a canvas for the color. I made a swatch and the gauge is perfect. Knitting this swatch, I was peaceful and relaxed, not so exhausted as recent days. The swatch is so soft and light like dream.
Finally, I found my first project for 2006 autumn, as my knittng rehabilitation. And if it goes well and would not take much time, I am now planning the next one...
So I have just ordered at online shop four balls of Kidsilk Haze, Splendour. Vivid purple-pink colorway!

motivation
I realised today that I have not knitted a stitch more than two weeks. My last knitting time was in a plain heading to Moscow and it was August 31. Now summer is gone, the air became cooler, all yarn company's brand new yarns appeared in sight both on the web and LYS,
BUT my motivation has still been very low....
I cannot find a intriguing new project for autumn/winter yet, I don't feel exciting when I touch the yarn....
I am kind of getting into slump... a knitting slump. I just don't know why. Or, My interest might be into the work so profondly so that I lost my knitting energy, consumed by work. I don't know.
So for now, not only I don't have any knitting news, but also I get lost.... don't you have ever any experiences like that before? If yes, how did you get out of it? Let me know, please.

Came back from Russia
Just came back two days ago...and no wooly or knitty news, unfortunately. I had absolutely no free time, the hotel was located a bit far from the city central, I was always somewhere between hotel, working place and airport. Though, the trip was not bad, it was fun to be in a place where you can absolutely read nothing! The people don't speak English even if they are at hotel reception (true! if it is not five-star hotels!)but I've got two russian words: thank you and good bye. (I cannot type Cyrillic alphabet)
So far not much progress for knitting. But for now, I feel strong necessity of knitting time for myself...I need relax, get myself again from stressed self.
I try to dream some new winter projects....
