beautiful old things
At my last post I showed you what I've got in France, and yet I didn't show you these:

These are old needles, which I have found and bought at "Broquante", frea market in France.
Each time when I go to France, I look for the notice of broquante and go there, for treasure hunting. There is anything, and normally I cannot find good wool(instead I find sometimes bunch of acrylics), but there are some treasures if you look into carefully...we love to visit there, don't we??
This time, I found these collection of old colorful needles, all are narrow as for fine yarn. Actually I don't know if I really try them, I don't care, I just love them.

These are so beautiful, but unfortunately the edges are broken and ruined... but it's OK. It's....a souvenir of a summer vacation.
BTW: I am leaving for Moscow on coming Thursday. I have scarcely have free time, but if I could, I will try to find some Russian wool... and I accompagnie this with me:

I might be able to knit in the plain, or I will read "Knit one, kill two"...

????
What beautiful finds! I especially like red ones on the left. Are you going to put them on display? They would look so pretty arranged in a wooden vase of some sort.
Have fun in Russia! Hope you find some interesting yarn along the way. :)

I love those needles! Next time I'm in France I'll take your advice and look for a flea market. Nice socks, too!
