1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer higher quality and/or natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand?

I am so, so sorry for you my pal, you feel yourself unlucky maybe, but I am hopeless yarn junky and yes, I am yarn snob. Though, as a real yarn addicted person, I am interested in trying almost any yarn.

2. Do you spin? Crochet?

I don't spin, and I can crochet a little but I absolutely prefer knit.

3. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?

Fablic needle cases for straight and hooks, a plastic bag for circular. so circular is normally mess, but I don't like hanger-style, and I have so much circulars, so I just don't know how to tidy up.

4. How long have you been knitting? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?

I have learned knitting when I was kid, but my addiction started just 4 years ago. My skill level is intermadiate.

5. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?

No.I am very lazy for it.

6. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)

Lavender!! bergamot orange, apricot.

7. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?

Not so much...

8. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do?

Well, I love knitting and I am addicted to yarn, but I am not crafty person other than that.

9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)

I like classic(pianos and winds), old jazz....My stereo can play MP3.

10. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can't stand?

Recently I Love Lavender-like, icy pink. Other than that, always I love deep rusty red, steel blue, olive, eggplant/aubergine purple.
I cannot stand any simple-clear vivid colors except black and white. I also don't like orange, saumon pink.

11. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?

My husband, 6 yrs old and 20 month boys. No pets.

12. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?

I wear scarves and ponchos, not so often hats, no mittens. I am glove knitter and I prefer gloves than mittens.

13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with?

I loved knitting Adrienne Vittadini's "Emma", Jaeger's Matchmaker merino Aran, Debbie Bluss's any cashmerinos, Rowan's True 4ply botany, Colinette's Skye, Filatura di Crosa's Zalina, ...etc.

14. What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?

Anything itchy. itchy wool, itchy mohair. Anything too fluffy. Long-eyelush novelties.

15. What is/are your current knitting obsession/s?

Not specially... I knit from 2mm to 8mm needles, adult to baby, gloves to sweater.

16. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?

Gloves.

17. What are you knitting right now?

Kids Sweater, baby Sweater, two scarves, Bohus gloves, baby hat, man's sweater, I forgot something?

18. Do you like to receive handmade gifts?

Yes!

19. Do you prefer straight or circular needles?

Well, I prefer straight but one of my sons is still baby,so now I have to use circulars to avoid danger for him, as he is always around my knees.

20. Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?

Bamboo lover, but I use others if necessary.

21. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift?

Yes.

22. How did you learn to knit?

For the very first from my mom. For recent obsessive knitting, by myself from book or patterns.

23. How old is your oldest UFO?

1 year and a half? A lacy tank from Vogue knitting pattern, I believe.

24. What is your favorite animated character or a favorite animal/bird?

My favorite animal is cat. No character.

25. What is your favorite holiday?

Summer holiday. I knit cottons and silks at poolside!

26. Is there anything that you collect?

Old Rowan, and knitting-related but not pattern books. I have many and love to read them in the train!

27. What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have?

Rowan, Vogue Knitting. I stopped Knitting(England) and Interweave knit.

28. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on?

Currently.....no idea.

29. Are there any new techniques you'd like to learn?

Cable knitting without cable needle. Toe-up socks.

30. Are you a sock knitter? What are your foot measurements?

I knit socks time to time, for my DH or myself. My foot is 23.5cm, I don't know US sizes.
