That's not new
What am I talking about? Oh, it is a kind of feeling. I FEEL, recently, a strong urge to knit. Yes. It is not new, it is, I believe, the same one that I have felt three years ago. I just think about knitting all the time, patterns I am interested in, yarns I want to get, arrangements to sneak a bit of time, etc. And I found this project:

This is a WIP sweater for my baby, abandoned almost a year ago. The yarn is Rowan True 4ply Botany, fine and good yarn. The pattern is "Bobby" by Louisa Harding, from Tadpoles & Tiddlers of Rowan. I liked this pattern very much and I have searched the original yarn of the book, it has already discontinued, but I found, and bought from England.
I recognised that the size I started is 1-2 yrs , and right now my baby boy is 1 years and a half. It is NOW his very size and I must complete within some weeks, if not, this would turn into a "sweater-in-no-need".
So far this is my current top priority. I knit this tiny stockinettes with 3.25mm needles, and this time I actually enjoy it. I hope I could finish soon...though I am now at the middle of the back.
BTW, have you already checked Teva's "Loop-d-Loop"? This book is my best knitting pattern book of this year, I love this stunning originality. I absolutely have to knit this:

Actually this design made me buy this book. and I found this:

So Beautiful...and I want to knit this too:

and this:

For the first one, I have tried hard to get the original yarn, Needful Yarn's "Van Dyke" but it is too difficult to purshase it from Japan. So I gave it up and selected the substitute. Will show you soon. The problem is, it is not realistic to knit them all within a winter....(And if course I have my Clapotis!!)

I like the the pistacho shade of your baby's sweater and also the original border. I am sure it will turn into a cute garment!
Um, I have had this urge to knit and think about yarns and anything related to knitting for a good part of my life! :D

Yep, I love loop-d-loop! The green leaf-jumper is wonderful! I know one girl here in Sweden who made it. I'm still trying to find the right yarn for this project. I like the other ones you posted pictures of too.
