WIP update
Some update for current WIPS.
This is Flame tank. Clearly you can see the difference of the color of yarn. But it is the same shade. I finished this orphan skein for both front and back, so now I just continue...BTW, knitting with silk 100% yarn is not so easy, the fiber is so fragile and you have to be careful more than usual...but it is heavenly touch.
I want to complete this Bob vest for my baby this weekend. Did I mentioned that I made the same vest with other yarn before? I used Varelia di Roma's Topacio, which has same composition of cotton and acrylic as all season's cotton. And this vest is truly useful for daily-use, so I need to make one another for him. This time I use Rowan's all season's cotton. Very fast and easy knitting, so I bring it with me every morning and knit it in the bus, ten minutes ride.
This is Bardot sweater by Debbie Bliss's Cotton Cashemere. The shade looks pale pink-ish but it is much more saumon orange. The touch of the yarn is rather dry....not much progress for now.
Tomorrow is the first holiday of the "Golden Week" in Japan. Now, three days weekend, one day work, three days holiday again, one day work, and another weekend, May 7-8.I would try to take a rest a bit and knit....

new life
If I try to explain my current life, it is EXHAUSTED and HAPPY. now two weeks flied away after starting my new appointment. We just closed our two-days exposition of this coming autumn collection for press people, and to prepare and tidy up all looseend afterward, I did everything that people told me to do. I cut clothes, made some swatches by crocheting, copy&sort&count documents, making tons of packages and open them, displaying items.....it was rather phisycal work, comparing with my previous job, but it is healthier and good for spirit. Our team is small but warm, intimate. I have not yet started my original job, and it should begin next week. I might be able to report more soon.
For knitting, I have not knitted even a row for these days...I am sorry about it, but I hope I could sneak a bit time this weekend...

Hectic
Literally, my life is hectic and I really have no time to open my laptop at night. why?
Because I have changed my job and this week is the first week for my new appointment.
So what?
Ladies, I've got a job in a crafty world!!
Now I'm soooooo exciting but really, really busy and exhausted.
Please let me explain one day about it, but not now....
Though simply, I am trying to knit too. I've casted on a baby vest for my son. Will show you soon....

Knitting Flame
I am knitting Flame, both back and front at the same time:
Why like this? Because, when I received these four sleins, it was in a plastic bag and I didn't notice that the color of one of the skeins is slightly but clearly enough different from the others. The one is rather vivid, bright color and the others are kind of shabby, pale tone. There is no lot numbers and these are the last stock of this yarn at that time. The shop could warn me but didn't. That's it.
So far I am trying to use the one first, by both side of the yarn for both side of tank. We will see.
BTW, some days ago I have passed by my LYS, Mitsuba-ya. There is always good bargain bins and what I digged out this time is this:
Four balls of Jaeger Albany, for only around $2 a ball!! I could not go out the shop without them....these are discontinued colors and just a last odd balls of each, I know you think "but only four skeins for what??" Ladies, I will make another tank for this summer!!
