WIP from the gift
Yesterday Tokyo was really, extraordinally hot day. It was like at the end of March. Today, though, the weather backstepped a little to winter....BUT it is nothing, anyway, we are heading to the spring!!
Yes. I know. I KNOW. However. I casted on this some days ago:

It is glove for myself. I just cannot help leaving these yarns untouched until next winter....these are, the part of gift from my secret pal. This heavenly soft silk-merino brend yarn, Giada by Mondial, invited me. That delicate assembly of sandy colorways of alpaca yarn, Top print by Grignasco, was whispering me to knit. I assume my secret pal got this perfect matching of colorway intentionally, to be used togather. So far I am making this glove, using these two yarns alternatively. Here is the close-up:

I LOVE this soft shade....thank you again, my secret pal! I am really glad, so glad that I have casted on this at the end of winter.
And also, I have finally finished this mittens last weekend:

So as a reward, I let me cast on another stuff. I brought this to Rowan shop last weekend. They are happy about it, even if I brought it completely out of season.....the lady was generous enough...lucky me!

????
Hi ! The mittens look nice. The colour of the WIP glove looks nice too. It is my target to make myself a glove this year.
Glad to hear the weather in Tokyo becomes not so cold. Maybe But, the weather forecast says it is 3 - 5 degree in Tokyo only. Should I bring my down jacket next week ?

Hi Eva, gloves are much easier than the look, hope we could meet up and knit togather one day, so that I could give you some tips for gloves. Next week, Tokyo looks a little cold though, 1degree the lowest and 12 the hightest. I recommend to bring your down jacket.
