excnanging stash season
Some days ago I decided to tidy up my stash at the corner of room. It is rather to exchange the yarns from wooly stuff to cotton, summer yarns. It was a mess like that:
I put most of them into a closet(the correct place for stash) and instead picked up some cotton yarns for spring and summer knitting. Two years ago I started a cardigan with a Rowan pattern by Filatula di Crosa's yarn, and left it whole year untouched. Oh yes, it should be nicely fermented and in good condition....ugh. Because, last year I had a baby and last February I have knitted a baby blanket and baby cardi with cotton yarn and All season's cotton....so now, it is my turn. Last year, though, I have casted on a lacey tank with a pattern from Vobue knitting, so I have to continue that too. I picked them all, and then, I found this:
I have knitted all parts and left them apart. It was a sweater for muself, with Bouton D'or yarn. After knitted up, it looks too dull and granny for me, both the color and design. I felt no interest on it, so far I have abandoned and forgotten....long time WIP.
But looking at it, I think I don't want to waste it. I joined the seams and weaved yarn ends. Now I have to set sleeves, and it would be completed. I will show you when it made.
