SP4 Q&A
Today finally I put the SEcretPals4 buttons at the side bar and here is my answers. :
1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer high- and/natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand? Or is it all the same to you?
I am definitely hopelessly yarn snob... I prefer high-end yarns, but I don't like novelties. As the fiber, I love naturals, like wool, alpaca, silk, etc. Some brends also acceptable.
2. Do you spin? Crochet?
Before I have tried to spin once, but that experience taught me I am not the person for spinning. I can crochet a little, not so much. Normally I prefer knitting.
3. Do you have any allergies? (smoke, pets, fibers, perfume, etc.)
Nothing as allergies, but I hate smoke.
4. How long have you been knitting?
My first knitting experience was when I was a kid. But my current craziness about knitting has exploded two years ago.
5. you have an Amazon or other online wish list?
No.
6. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)
Peach, apricot.
7. Do you have a sweet tooth?
I don't think so. I prefer salty stuff to bite.
8. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do?
Well, not so much other than knitting for the craft. I like baking bread and cakes for my family.
9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)
Old jazz, gentle classic, or..almost anything. I listen to the radio often. Mine is not but DH’s computer can play MP3s.
10. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer?
My color is deep red(both bordeaux and brick red), slate-blue-grey, and vanilla. Also, I like warm autumn palette. I like Italian sandy gentle shades too, like Armani.
11. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?
My family is DH, 5 yrs old and 8 months boys. No pets.
12. What are your life dreams? (really stretching it here, I know)
Have my own atelier and stock room for knitting, and time to knit...my dream is not so huge. Really. I know what I need and what I have.
13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with?
Alchemy, Debbie Bliss, Lorna's lace, Koigu, Colinette, Adrienne Vittadini.
14. What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
I would say I don't like "Itchy" or "fruffy" fiber.
15. What is/are your current knitting obsession/s?
Usually I prefer dpn than circular. other than that, I am normal yarnholic, stashy knitter.
16. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?
I like to knit small stuff, especially gloves. I am rather glove knitter.
17. What are you knitting right now?
Cardigan, socks, baby sweater, shawl, scarf...
18. What do you think about ponchos?
This winter I knitted one for myself, and I am happy about it. But that's enough.
19. Do you prefer straight or circular needles?
I am bamboo straight needle person. But when I bring WIP along, I put it into circular.
20. Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?
Absolutely bamboo.
21. Are you a sock knitter?
Well. sometimes I knit socks and I like it, but I cannot call me sock knitter.
22. How did you learn to knit?
First from mom. After and most techniques, I self-learned from books.
23. How old is your oldest UFO?
One year. I don't have many UFOs, for even if I cannot complete a project, I would be back again one day. Or, I flog it.
24. What is your favorite animated character or a favorite animal/bird?
No favorite animated character. Though, I could be friend with cats.
25. What is your favorite holiday?
Summer vacation!
26. Is there anything that you collect?
Nothing other than yarn, for now. I consumed all the space at home to stash yarns...ugh.
