Leftovers vest and the leftovers
I have finished the body of the vest, and now I am knitting the neck rib. I believe I could show you the FO next time.
And now I noticed I made a fatal mistake for it.
Not for the pattern. Not for stripe combination. Not the size.
So what? It is my estimate for the yarn quantity.
I no longer use that Kid Classic nor red yarn for this vest, because I have already finished the part. Now I am knitting with Matchmaker Merino Aran only and will until the end. BUT I have much leftovers of them!!! Hey, this pattern's original idea is to use the leftovers. But I re-produced "The leftovers" in making "Leftovers" vest.....what I can do with???
By the way, anyone has tried "Silky Wool" of Elsebeth Lavold? I am very interested in the yarn recently. I think its taste suits well us, Japanese. I mean, not only the yarn, but her design too....now I am watching ebay. As usual....

????
I have used the Silky Wool with great success. The colors are gorgeous, the price is right, and the finished product drapes beautifully. I will say that, despite its relatively light weight, it is quite warm. I just did a cabled item and the detail came out nicely, too.

Silky Wool is at the moment one of my favourite yarns though I haven't knit a garment with it yet - just a swatch. I highly recommend trying it!
