I forgot and lost

what? an opportunity to take a photo of my leftovers vest, today. In the daytime I didn't have a time to do, and now that WIP has left in the room where my baby is sleeping....I so will show you that next time, promise! Now I am knitting in stripe zone, about 7 inches from cast on edge. Not much progress for Elise....

Instead, look my newest stash enhencement:

Sorry the photo is not in good quality to show well the colors. The left green Rowan's Cork pack arrived yesterday from Rowan, as the membership free gift. I do NOT intend to make that poncho with the yarn, it would be transformed a little sweater or something, maybe.
The center Yorkshire Tweed Aran is for my boy's hat. This shade has just the same color frecks in it, with his winter jacket. And it isn't itchy. So I will make it within this weekend, if possible...
The right pale apricot boxed-yarn is, yup, Jaeger Cashmere 4ply. It is old discontinued yarn, and yesterday when I visited Rowan&Jaeger LYS, they just had this orphan box alone. AND, the price tag showed only JPY1,000, slightly less than $10!!! That normal retail price should be three times more expensive, so it's a bargain. I grabbed it of course. and the showed photo of little lace scarf is the project I want to make with. It is from Joelle Hoverson's Last minute knitted gift. I really love this book!!

I have the same book and it has lovely projects in it. Be sure to check the this link for corrections to patterns before you get started though. http://store.purlsoho.com/purl/book_corrections There are a ton of errors. Good luck.

Thank you so much for your advice, Michelle. When I bought and received the book, there was a errata sheet in it already. But sounds that should have been found much more errors than that. I will check it..
